I get a lot of inquiries about how I discover Scam and, more importantly, how I substantiate it as such.

As I have outlined on my website www.scamhunter.weebly.com I define websites/programs as Scam if they appear to "Making claims on advertisements and/or websites that are untrue, misleading, deceitful and exploitative". That is for starters. And to this day, none of the creators or marketers of the websites/programs that I have listed have made an attempt to defend themselves and their so-called products!

When a new program is marketed, many of the reputable review sites just cannot quickly come up with a review also because of the sheer multitude being published day by day! That's were I am a bit ahead of them in my efforts to let people know to be at least cautious! Based on my experience, the advertisement already says a lot and with the creed better to be safe than sorry, one can read a lot from advertisement, especially what it doesn't show or say. I will list two examples, which I have listed as Scam on my website as a precaution for potential buyers.

The first is Oneminutecommission.com.

The name already raised my doubts and the first thing that I looked at was the video and related it to the disclaimer at the bottom. Many times there is no disclaimers and that is already a warning sign. In the video you will see how anyone can purportedly make a lot of money from the sale(s) of ClickBank products, however that is merely a claim and lacks real proof like having a written confirmation from Clickbank that could be verified, which I assume ClickBank wouldn't do anyway. Then there are testimonials, which may or not be real, but then again look at the disclaimer where it is mentioned that  "ALL PERSONS PORTRAYED ARE REAL AND VERIFIED. IN SOME CASES ACTORS HAVE BEEN USED TO REPRESENT THESE PERSONS". Now why is that? I have no doubts that the people are real but who verified them and what does verification mean? Why use actors to represent?

Then it goes on and on about how much money others have earned and gives you the impression that anyone can too. Again the disclaimer where it says "THIS IS A NEW SYSTEM, SO THERE ARE NO TYPICAL RESULTS. THE COMPANY DOES NOT GUARANTEE INCOME OR SUCCESS, AND EXAMPLES OF THE PRODUCT OWNER'S AND OTHER PERSON'S RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT AN INDICATION OF FUTURE SUCCESS OR EARNINGS". If there are no typical earnings results, than what does that say about the credibility of the earnings claims made in the video, or those of the product owners and other person's results?

Lastly it states "THE COMPANY DECLARES THE INFORMATION SHARED IS TRUE AND ACCURATE. NOTE: THERE ARE NO COSTS IN USING THIS SYSTEM." No costs? The system is being sold for $ 46.-! It does come with a 60 day-money-back guarantee but unless you have actually bought it through ClickBank, their money-back is not defined in any way, nor is there any substantiation and thus cannot be credible or relied upon.

Lastly, I have found a review that claims that this program is basically about promoting products through You Tube. If that is the case, it does not mean conversions come automatically. Actually anyone can do this for free!

The second one is DynamicDigitalEnterprise.com.

With this program no video is involved, however, the first statement let's you believe that you are one of the few privately invited people to sign up for free on the "ground floor" before it goes public on Sept. 15th. As far as I am concerned, I am part of the public. It then says to read everything very carefully, which is laudible and I did accordingly. It goes on to say that their incredible affiliate compensation plan "allows" you to earn a whopping $ 2,025.- a month by merely signing up 155 people and $ 150.- for 30 signups! Now we all know how difficult that is, no matter how good and sensational your product may be! It then goes on to say that you can recoup your membership fee with just 3 referrals! Wait, I thought it was free? Where does the membership fee come from and it is not mentioned anywhere nor when that would kick in.

Then you are informed that they have Professional and reliable products that meet or exceed the cost you are paying and a fast "break even point" that allows you to recoup your investment into the company as soon as possible. Wait, I thought it was free? I have had a look at some of the 84 pages of their products and I have to say that I was not impressed.

It goes on to say that you can receive big commission payments early rather than being forced to fill a downline with thousands of people before earning a significant online income. How exactly would that work? Then you're told that this is a self-less company that puts the members first by paying out a massive percentage of all incoming funds right back to the members in commissions. Now we have the confirmation that it's a MLM program. So, one does have to pay? I thought it was free?

Finally there is no disclaimer, or any sort of (legal) statement.

Both programs outlined may just be something that people might be looking for, but the way they present themselves leaves me no choice but to classify them as Scam accordingly.

Whenever you scour the Internet on how to make money online, you invariably get to see all the fancy videos and/or presentations about how people make instant cash, if not millions by showing you their ClickBank accounts. While I am sure that there are very good Internet marketers out there making a good income, I seriously doubt that they're making millions. Why you ask?

ClickBank is a privately owned company that does not (have to) divulge their financial statements to the public. The last I have heard, was that as of the end of 2009, their sales grew by 8 % and doing more than $300 million in sales annually. That covers about 12,000 independent sellers and more than 100,000 affiliate marketers. For arguments sake, let's assume that the sales have increased annually by 8 % thus for 2011 their sales would have been around $ 350 million. Now we can all do the math, make certain assumptions and estimates and arrive at what the average affiliate marketer could have earned.

Well, what does that really tell us? Obviously that most of the videos and presentations are basically rubbish!

Now let's have a look at the largest online retailers as of 2011. Amazon.com is obviously the largest with about $ 48 billion in sales. Next comes Wal-Mart with $ 4.8 billion, Liberty Interactive with $ 3.8 billion and Sears with $ 3.6 billion. As a matter of fact, the top 10 add up to $ 69.8 billion. That means that ClickBank and all the others are very far behind.

I don't mean that critically at all, but given the size of this market and it's annual growth, estimated on average to be 15 % and given that there are very many affiliate marketers around the world, which market would you rather be in as an affiliate marketer?

You might say that these companies are predominantly serving the US market, which they are. However, Amazon.com derives about 44 % of it's sales internationally! That means that particular market is worth about $ 21 billion. Let's be conservative and assume that the average commission is 15 %. That would amount to $ 3.2 billion just for Amazon.com alone! Wal-Mart has representations in over 29 countries with revenues in excess of  $ 100 billion. While it does not disclose the online part of those international revenues, it is assumed to be around $ 2 billion.

For arguments sake, let's combine Amazon.com and Wal-Mart, which are linked through the Solutions Network, which is the only website to offer shoppers and affiliates one website with access to both and many, many others. That would mean as of 2011 access to a market of a total of almost $ 3.5 billion in commissions just from these two giants alone!

We all have done some kind of shopping online, be it from travel arrangements to a new TV. So why not use ASN, especially since it offers also various kinds of services, which the other online retailers do not, or to a limited extent? On top of that, what about those commissions that your referrals do? You share in those too. It certainly won't make you instantly rich, but given time and effort, you can make a decent income.

Therefore I ask again, given the size of the markets, which one would you think you have a greater chance of achieving success? For me the answer is obvious.

I think it can be agreed that Affiliate Marketing is the best, easiest and fastest way for anyone to get started to make money on the Internet.

There is an absolute plethora of Affiliate Marketing Programs on the Internet, but which one should a Newbie choose? The most important rule would be to stay away from anything that needs to be paid for! After all, you're going to be doing all the work! Next would be to be very wary of any system that promises instant riches, at the push of a button and get paid while you sleep! Many experts would point to niche-products or services, but from my experience, there really is no such thing. And you can be quite certain that anyone promising you the niches, is taking you for a ride.

Then there are the multitude of websites offering free advice in various ways and forms on how to get started. While there many that are truly helpful, there are equally many, if not more, that are basically only out to get your email address, so stay away from those. You should not need to sign up for anything to get the information you need and can get without doing so. For example, one which I found useful (apart from mine http://www.internetadvisor.weebly.com/) is www.freeaffiliatemarketingtipsandtools.com/ mainly because it shows you a lot of good and free stuff.

My suggestion at which product or service to choose would be to concentrate on things that everyday people need and buy all the time, instead of wasting your time looking for niche products.

I think we have to consider that more and more people around the world do their shopping online. Why? Because today's consumers basically already know what they want, so they scour the Internet for the best deals. The market for that is estimated to reach about $ 150 Billion in 2012. For that you could sign up as an affiliate to retailers like Amazon and Wal-Mart, etc. I mention these two because they are the biggest. Obviously Amazon is the leader with more than $ 43 Billion in sales from selling more than 300,000 products every single day! Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world, with more than $ 440 Billion in sales! Can anyone tell me why they would rather be looking for niche products?

Now it gets even better. Despite the wide array of products that the retailers I referred to and many others offer, many of them do not include services, or only to a limited extent. So, while you sign up with these retailers one-by-one and promote them and their products one-by-one, wouldn't it make more sense to sign up for a program that includes all the products of Amazon and Wal-Mart in addition to many other services? As I said before, most online shoppers already know what they want to buy and are looking for the best price for them. Have a look at this video.

So wouldn't it make more sense to sign up for ASN? I think it's about the smartest way to tap into a huge market! And it can be done from anywhere and just like signing up with any of the retailers, it is free!

My previous Blog "Possibilities for Newbies" got a surprising response! Not only the sheer number of responses, but also the (mostly) pros and some cons. Here I want to quickly react to the cons.

Most of the cons responses were critical to the extent that I did not elaborate further on the "list-building" and advertising and how to go about it. Few were crtitical about my program suggestions. Fair enough. However, calling the All Solutions Network a Scam is something I will not accept! I have dedicated myself to exposing and I would never promote such! Before trying it out, I had done, what I would consider, extensive reviewing and checking. Then I tried it out and after all, within 12 days, I had five referrals and they had extended that to two more! All I did, was advertise the program on my website and Blogs, and used a free Safelist provider! How much time did I spend doind that? To be totally honest, the lead time was about 3 weeks, but then it clicked. That may not sound like much, but the input and effort has to considered, especially using free resources!

The other thing that many critical replies did not realize and I should have elaborated on this in more detail, is that All Solutions Network is a on-line shopping platform. Basically you use one platform to do what all on-line shoppers have been doing. The difference being, is that you don't have to go to the individual vendors/retailers websites (the multitude of retailers/vendors, products and services is indeed very impressive) and, more importantly, you directly benefit from your shopping. As an example, when you make a purchase amounting to $ 325.- you can get a 20% fee. That would be tantamount to paying only $ 260.- In addition, if you make referrals, you benefit from their purchases and so on. And finally, it is completely free to join! The quintessence of this program is not to get referrals only, but also do your on-line shopping there and get your referrals that do the same.

So how could this possibly be called a scam, especially since there is nothing to pay for? It also has to be considered that the creator of All Solutions Network, Bruce Castro goes to great lengths to personally respond to Scam accusations! Just check out http://www.warriorforum.com/. I don't see any of the so-called "Gurus" doing that for one simple reason: Because more times than not, their programs are Scam!

Back to list-building and advertisement. I firmly believe, that if I promote something that is free, then I would be disingenuous, if I would recommend anything further for which you would have to pay for. However, I have always stated that to get started, it is useful to contact friends, family and acquaintances, etc. who are like-minded and who you think would like to give it a try. Don't go about this indisciminately! But especially with All Solutions Network you will never end up being critisized for someone loosing any money!

There are plenty of traffice exchanges, or Safelists which are free and you just need to spend a bit of time to get the credits necessary to send out emails to their members and advertise, but it needs to be understood that these members are also marketers and the likelyhood for them to sign up is low.

Then there are numerous global and local (country-specific) free advertising websites to choose from! Just google "free advertising" and choose which is right for you. Some may require reciprocal advertisement, so if you have a website, or a blog, then that is how it's done.

I have always offered my help, also individually, so please feel free to contact me, either through my websites, or at [email protected].

The Affiliate Cash Snipers (ACS) is a relatively new product and is in fact not a Scam at all!

It targets the huge and ever growing online shopping market in a very detailed way and that is niche product marketing and customization. You basically sign up with the largest retailers like Wal-Mart, Amazon and the like as an affiliate, then click and paste your affiliate link through ACS and place the created widgets on your website, blog, etc. However, as with many other legitimate programs, it takes for granted that you have a website, blog, etc. where you can place these widgets and that you already have visitors to your website, blogs, etc. in order to actually benefit from online shoppers purchases. But that should not deter you from actually buying it at all! It is a great instrument, especially to target specific products that have peak sales during a certain time of the year, like for instance Christmas.

The one and only draw-back, if you can consider it as such at all, is that you have to sign up with the retailers individually, whereas with ASN (All Solutions Network) you already have access to most of the world's largest retailers in one go, be it as a shopper and/or affiliate. Now the trick is to use ACS in conjunction with ASN. The reason being, ASN offers so much more for the online shopper, than the retailers individually! It shouldn't be too difficult and I'm working on it and will let you know in the next couple of days.

In the meantime check them out and you will certainly not be disappointed!

The best sources for my research are the marketers and guess what? Many of them are the so-called "Gurus" like Justin Blake, Gary Ambrose, A Morrison, Russel Bronson and the list goes on and on. We have to ask ourselves, why are these "millionaires" still marketing not only their schemes, but also each others? Because that's where and how they make their money! Not from actually using their own schemes!

And then it comes to the money-back guarantees! Many of them are completely unsubstantiated, i.e. how real and credible are these guarantees? Forget the "personal" guarantees right away! In many cases, if you read the fine print, the so-called "risk-free" money-back guarantee is actually conditional. Just read the Refund Policy, if there is one. If not, another reason to stay away!

I have always maintained that if in fact any given scheme is so great, then why not franchise it for free and participate in a revenue-sharing model? I am certain such a model would certainly bring greater "riches" to the creators than just a one-time payment, apart from the up-sells in many cases.

There are so many schemes out there, that it is basically impossible to warn everyone of all of them. Not to mention that there new schemes coming out virtually every day! I try my level best to cover as many as I possibly can, but in view of the sheer scale, I concentrate on those which are what I call "the worst of the worst" and those where I know from lead, that it can safely be assumed to be a Scam of some sort or another. Feel free to check it out at www.scamhunter.weebly.com and if you're interested to set up your own Internet business, then go to www.internetadvisor.weebly.com where you can find not only many resources and suggestions, but many of them are free!

Just recently, I was contacted by someone through one of my websites, asking me which program I would recommend for "Newbies". Taking for granted that the inquiry was genuine, I replied accordingly.

I think, first and foremost, we need to understand and accept that we all are Newbies, except for those that create the programs and in some cases also those who have found a way to be successful at selling programs.

When I started out, I truly only knew how to turn on a PC, surf and do emails. That was about it. Then came Facebook, Twitter and so on, until a friend of mine asked me, if I had ever tried to make money on the Internet. I obviously didn't but the idea was intriguing and I started surfing and checking. The first thing I noticed was that all programs always state that they are designed for anyone and that you don't need any PC or Internet experience! Quickly did I find out that most of these programs are indeed for Newbies, taking advantage of their lack of experience and in so many cases leaving them stranded somewhere along the line and their money gone. That's when and why I started my websites with the main intention of helping Newbies and warning them of, as I call it, the worst of the worst. Did I make any money from that? No I didn't, but then that was certainly not my intention.

After having gained some experience, especially what to look out for when discovering Scam and more importantly exposing it, I also saw programs that are in fact genuine and I have made recommendations accordingly. However, having said that, the biggest challenge for anyone, whether they buy a program or start on their own in Internet or Affiliate Marketing, is how to get the ever so important leads, i.e. the contacts. That is where basically all programs fall short and for good reasons. Firstly, it is illegal in many countries to divulge contact details without permission on whatever basis and secondly it is the quintessence of success and who would share that? Nobody! Anyone claiming to get/give you leads, or show you how to get them is taking you for a ride.

This is where Newbies have a hard time. But then, just like with any other job, you have to start from scratch, work hard, be diligent and most important persevere and it will pay off eventually ! There are no push-button programs to instant riches!

From my experience, the best and easiest way for Newbies to get started, is Affiliate Marketing. However, I would urge everyone to stay away from programs/schemes that merely promote themselves and where there is basically no value-added. Stick with programs that actually sell real products and/or services be it with reputable retailers, or those programs that combine multiple products and/or services. One example is ClickBank. Unfortunately there are products available there, which I would certainly classify as Scam, so be very careful what you promote! Another program I have found is All Solutions Network. This is actually really convenient, because it covers what many people already do, namely on-line shopping. It's multitude of products and services is very good, as are the vendors like Wal-Mart, Amazon and so on. You get credits (cash) for shopping and if you get someone to sign up, you participate in the rewards for their shopping. For Newbies this is very interesting because it gives you all the support and training you need. I have tried it and it's really good!

Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM), for example as described by Wikipedia, "is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation. Other terms for MLM include pyramid selling, network marketing and referral marketing."

While Network Marketing and Referral Marketing are not bad at all, MLM gets a bad reputation mainly because there are many schemes that employ this marketing method promoting only their own schemes, sometimes hiding behind the theme of being an advertising service. You pay, get referrals and hopefully the referrals will get more referrals, so that one gets paid, hopefully more than one pays. In fact, there are no "real" products or services sold and thus it becomes a Pyramid or Ponzi-like scheme. As a result there are many blog services, for example, that categorically rule out any references to MLM.

Then there are programs, which actually do sell products and/or services and quiet many do actually include a referral program, so that you can benefit from your referral's sales. I feel there is nothing wrong with that, because why shouldn't you participate in the success of your referrals, when it you who showed them the chance to make money? However, why should you pay for it? There are so many companies, like Avon, Sears, ClickBank and, and, and, that you can sign up for free! There are also programs that combine many vendors/retailers, etc. into one, so that you don't have to market/advertise them separately! And they're also free!

But whether you market products or services and/or to prospective referrals, the ways and means to go about it is obviously the same. You do all the work, getting the leads/contacts in whatever form and with that (hopefully) the conversions. Now why should you actually pay for that?

From my experience, you pay for getting websites, etc. and "training" all of which you can actually do yourself and rather quickly. What you don't get, in most if not all cases, are the leads and conversions. And if anyone promises or guarantees that, you are being duped! Plain and simple!

I make it a point to let anyone know how to go about doing this on my website www.internetadvisor.weebly.com and even expose the worst of Internet Money-Making Scams on www.scamhunter.weebly.com. If you have any further queries please feel free to contact me.
